Qian Deng Lake Landscape Lighting Renovation Project

Project Background
Qian Deng Lake, as a landmark of Nanhai District, plays a key role in the region's economic, cultural, and technological development. It also serves as an important leisure and tourist destination for residents of Foshan and Guangzhou. Since the lake's opening 17 years ago, some of the landscape lighting has aged, negatively impacting its overall image. This lighting renovation plan aims to enhance the visual effects of the landscape while maintaining the original warm-toned design. The goal is to create a more dynamic, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly city nightscape.

Plan Overview
The renovation includes lighting improvements for the lighthouse, lamp posts, bridges, courtyard lights, and key scenic spots. The main points are as follows:

I. Lighthouse and Lamp Post Renovation

  1. Lighthouse

    • Replace with high-power LED T8 daylight tubes for improved light efficiency and reduced energy consumption.

    • Install RGB tubes to enable color transitions during holidays, enhancing festive ambiance.

    • Use 4G communication modules for synchronized control across multiple lighthouses to ensure consistent color changes.

  2. Lamp Posts

    • Adopt dual-circuit LED light tubes to prevent lighting disruption in case of failure.

    • Replace with high-power LED lamps to extend their service life.

    • Add RGB color tubes to enable varied lighting effects during holidays.

II. Bridge Lighting Enhancement

  1. Jinhai Bridge

    • Replace daylight tubes with 2700K LED wall washers to reduce dark spots on the bridge surface and enhance light efficiency.

    • Add spotlights to the bridge piers to highlight their outlines and create a three-dimensional effect.

    • Install wall-mounted lights under the bridge to increase brightness.

  2. Guandong Bridge

    • Replace with RGBW LED wall washers to provide four-color gradient effects.

    • Replace metal railing high-pressure energy-saving lamps with 12V low-voltage LED lights for improved safety and aesthetics.

III. Courtyard Light and Reflector Lamp Upgrades

  1. Courtyard Lights

    • Upgrade to 40W LED spotlights with adjustable color temperatures.

    • Use dual-color temperature LED tubes for adjustable lighting.

    • Enhance the reflectivity of reflectors for more even lighting.

  2. Special Lighting Effects

    • Use RGBW tubes for the courtyard lights around the lake, switching to different modes for each holiday to match the "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter" theme of Qian Deng Lake Phase II.

IV. Other Scenic and Facility Lighting Enhancements

  1. Pier Lighting

    • Install 4000K LED strip lights to highlight the pier’s outline, and small buried lights on each column for added visual appeal.

  2. Water Courtyard

    • Replace with 2000K LED floodlights to reduce glare and highlight the courtyard’s structure.

    • Install LED spotlights on the four corner columns to enhance the three-dimensional effect.

  3. Fog Valley and Poem Square

    • Install LED floodlights and wall-mounted lights to improve the nighttime lighting of these spots.

    • Install LED lights under the small bridge in the Fog Valley to increase its brightness.

V. Intelligent Management System

In addition to the physical upgrades, a remote smart lighting management system will be implemented throughout the park for the first time. This system allows for centralized management of all lights, with features such as:

  • Remote Dimming: Adjusting light brightness according to different times of day or specific needs to ensure optimal lighting effects.

  • Scheduled On/Off Times: Setting the times for lights to turn on and off, optimizing energy consumption and reducing unnecessary lighting.

  • Weekday and Holiday Mode Switching: Automatically switching between different lighting effects and brightness settings for holidays and regular weekdays, enhancing festive ambiance and improving the visitor experience.
